EDMUNDS-IRELAND, Margaret Ruby Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Trillium Healthcare Centre, Mississauga, Ontario on Thursday, January 15, 2009, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of W.A. (Al) Ireland and the late Lloyd Edmunds. Loving mother of Wendy (Wayne) Ashton, Pamela Fitzgerald and Robert (Norma) Edmunds. Stepmother of MaryAnn (Darvey) Kondo and Susan (Charles) Wakefield. Dear grandmother of Cassandra, Michael (Leslie), Roman (Candace), Ryan, Shannon, Robert, Kailee and Janna. G.G. of Kalani and Kiana. Dear sister of Jim Routcliffe and Emmeline Hall. Predeceased by her parents George and Emmeline Routcliffe, brothers Peter and George Routcliffe and sisters Betty Kingsley and Mary Pickering. Special thanks to Ruby's friends for their care and support during her hospitalization and also the wonderful nursing staff at Trillium Health Centre. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation.
