Margaret R. Davis Margaret R. Davis, 87, who did clerical work for the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at First Baptist Church, with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST today at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home (850-562-1518).Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. An active member of First Baptist Church since 1946, she also was a member of the Tallahassee Woman's Club. She was an avid gardener and will be most remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.She is survived by her beloved son, Jim Davis (and wife Lynda) of Tallahassee; a grandson, Rob Davis of Tallahassee; a granddaughter, Alyson Motes (and husband Ralph) of Tallahassee; three great-grandsons, Thomas Davis and Chase and Chance Motes, all of Tallahassee; two sisters-in-law, Daisey Roberts of Augusta, Ga., and Maryzel Roberts of Tallahassee; a special cousin, Dorothy Rae Owens of Branford; a special caregiver, Carolyn Christian; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
