Lebegern passed away peacefully on March 25, 2013, in her 84th year at the Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Cape Coral, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret Neal. She graduated from Manheim Township HS, Lancaster, PA. Peg retired from Armstrong World Industries after 40 years of service, where she was Manager of International Operations. After retirement she and her husband moved to Cape Coral where they enjoyed playing golf, traveling and playing pinochle. Each summer they returned to Lancaster to visit family and friends. She was a long time member of the Order of the Easter Star and a former member of the Palmetto Pines Country Club. During her years in Lancaster, she was a member of the Otterbein U.M. Church. Peg's husband of 59 years, Howard, passed away in 2009. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews: Marilyn Shope, Columbia, PA; Gail Mattern, Lancaster, PA; Carolyn, wife of Michael Lynch, Willow Street, PA; Anne, wife of John Ranck, Lancaster, PA; Theodore Neal, Harrisburg, PA; Michael Neal, husband of Sharon, Lititz, PA; Craig Neal, Brooksville, FL; and Jack Neal, husband of Sandy, Lancaster, PA.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 11 AM at Otterbein U.M. Church, 20 E. Clay Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret Lebegern's name may be sent to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 20 E. Clay St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
