MARGARET McGEE MERRITT ISLAND Margaret Mary McGee, 78 died Monday, June 4, 2007 in Merritt Island. She was a native of Philadel phia, PA, and a graduate of The Little Flower High School. She was a resident of Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral for the past 31 years and was previ ously employed by the First American Bank and Bernards Surf restaurant. Peggy spent the last 25 years with the Holy Cross Community of Cocoa Beach where she served happily in many capacities and considered them part of her family. She was a member of Our Saviour Cath olic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister. She was devoted to her fam ily and will always be remem bered for her fiery, tenacious, one of a kind personality. Survivors include her daugh ter, Catherine (Edward) Rutter; sons, William S. (Joan) McGee and Michael (Rebecca) McGee; daughter-in-law Michelle McGee; grandchildren, Eric (Becky) Rutter, Crista (Joshua) Hassett, Keelin Margaret McGee, and Zachary Michael McGee; great grandchildren, Emily June Hassett, and Thomas Christopher Rutter. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward and son Edward R. McGee. Calling hour will be Wednes day June 6, from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. at Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach with a Funeral Mass to follow at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to The Holy Cross Community, 325 Arthur Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Brownlie - Maxwell Funeral Home is serving the family 321-723-2345.
