de WHALLEY, Margaret Mary (Taylor) May 13, 1922 October 10, 2011 Meg was born in Stroud, England, and emigrated to Canada with her two children in 1956. Meg was predeceased by her son David (Ardise) in 2007 and her husband John in 2010. She is survived by her daughter Penny (Albert) van Citters; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christina, Kai (Pam) and Anik (Jaimie); great-grandchildren, Nylah and Aubrey. Meg was adventurous, having sailed to New Zealand as cook and crew. She was a member of the Canadian Youth Hostel, where she met John. Her interests and talents included classical music, piano, cooking, skiing, international folk dancing and drama. She joined the WAFS during World War Two. John and Meg settled in Sointula on Palo Farm where they lived happily for many years. Latterly Meg was successful in real estate until her retirement.
