SAVOIE _ Margaret Mary, age 85 years, of Comox, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2000 accompanied by loving daughter Pat. Born May 13, 1915 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her loving husband Albert of 59 years, precious daughter Toni and brother Tom O'Connor. Margaret was well known for her generosity, hospitality, gentleness and sense of humour. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Heaney, Joan O'Connell (Larry), Loraine Van Somer (Jim), Linda Reilly and only son Ron; sisters-in-law Doris Savoie, Muriel Cowie, Pat Savoie and brother-in-law Francis. Margaret had 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is sadly missed by all her immediate family plus many nieces and nephews and many many friends. Prayers were held at Christ The King Catholic Church, Courtenay, B.C. on Thursday, June 1st and Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m. Burial followed at Courtenay Cemetery.
