Moore, Margaret Mary COLONIE Margaret Mary Moore, 82, of Wilshire Drive, Colonie, died peacefully Wednesday evening, December 12, 2007 at the Eddy-Ford, Cohoes. Born in Cabot, Vt., daughter of Raymond and Maidene Bolton. She was a graduate of Boston University School of Music and a music teacher, cellist, pianist and vocalist. Peg loved travel and camped with her family through 49 states, driving the Pan-Am Highway to Panama and the Al-Can to Alaska. She and Stan traveled in Europe, Africa, Middle East, China and Russia. Peg loved quilting, sewing, the outdoors, and hiking the Long Trail, Long Path, Appalachian Trail and was an ADK 46er. She was socially concerned and an environmentalist. She was the best mom, grandmother and great-grandmother and a devoted pastor's wife, lovingly involved in all aspects of the ministry. Married 61 wonderful years, she leaves her husband Rev. Dr. Stanley Moore; four children, William (Anita), Stephen (Susan), Rebecca (Timothy) and Barbara (Bjorn), 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves brothers, Foster (Lillian) and the late Wesson (Barbara) Bolton, and her sister Marilyn (David) Perrin. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on December 23 at 3 p.m. at the East Greenbush United Methodist Church, Hays and Gilligan Roads, East Greenbush, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hills Christian Camp, c/o Todd Marlow, 96 Center St., Richford, VT 05476.
