Mahoney, Margaret RENSSELAER Margaret "Peggy" Mahoney, 63, of Rensselaer died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at home. Margaret was born in Glens Falls and was raised in South Glens Falls, graduating as a registered nurse from Villa Maria and then achieving her masters degree in education from St Rose, eventually becoming a case manager at Albany Medical Center. Predeceased by her parents, Philip and Veronica (Malone) Mahoney and brother, Michael P. Mahoney. Peggy is survived by her sister, Kathleen T. (Douglas) Michalski of North Port, Fla. and two brothers, Francis E. Mahoney of Victor, N.Y., Patrick J.(Joan) Mahoney of Centerport, N.Y. and sister-in-law, Patricia Mahoney. Peggy is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Peanuts and Snickers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, N.Y. Friends may call in the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 prior to the funeral.
