KEENE -- Margaret L. (Gardner) MacKenzie 73, of Main Street, Keene, died June 10, 2008, in Harborside Healthcare - Westwood, Keene. She was born in Enfield Dec. 5, 1934, the daughter of Forrest and Gladys (Clark) Gardner. She was a resident of Manassas, Va., for 23 years before moving to Keene 15 years ago. She was an avid horse lover, raising horses and enjoying horseback riding. She dabbled in floral and vegetable gardening. She was an artist, creating paintings on jewelry and pins. Family members include her husband of 51 years, Archie (Butch) MacKenzie of Keene; two brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: The funeral and burial in the Wells Cemetery, Canaan, will be held at a later date. The Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St., Keene, is in charge of arrangements.
