Pioneers of St. Marks, Man., they ranched, ran the post office and boarded the school teachers for many years. They were always very involved in the community and enjoyed serving others. They moved to Moose Jaw, Sask., January 1, 1950, where her husband was employed by the P.F.R.A. In Moose Jaw, Margaret was involved with several organizations, including the Pioneer Choir. She was a resident of Moose Jaw until December 2000 when she moved to Calgary, Alberta to live with her daughter Bertha. She resided at Trinity Lodge, Calgary, from November 2006 to April 2008.
