MARGARET M. ROTH HAMMOND, IN FORMERLY OF BURNHAM, IL Margaret M. Roth, age 89, of Hammond, formerly of Burnham, IL passed away Friday, August 13, 2010. Loving mother of five daughters: Kathy (Dan) Vroom of Munster, Sue (Nick) Egnatz, Munster, Pat Stangel of Whiting, Donna (Harold) Stacy of Munster and Barb (Richard) Kuprenas of Crown Point; nine grandchildren: Erin, John, Nick, Allison, Robert, Kathryn, John, Megan and Kimberly; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her devoted husband of 52 years, John; brothers: William and Jack; and sister, Helen. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. (corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Private burial to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 until the time of service. Margaret was a longtime area resident and was employed by AT&T for many years. She loved her family greatly and will be dearly missed.
