Obituary of Margaret-M. Kent


Margaret M. Kent FALMOUTH Margaret "Peggy" Martha Kent, 70, passed away peacefully, in her home, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, Jan. 2, 2009. A daughter of the late Samuel F. and Florence (Massey) Brownell, she was born Jan. 2, 1939, in Brookline. She met and married her husband of 52 years at Ruggles Street Baptist Church in Boston. She worked a bookkeeper at Bridgewater Foundry for 20 years and then continued to work with Donald W. Kent, CPA. Peggy enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Among her favorite places were St. Marteen and Italy. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Donald W. Kent of Falmouth; her daughters, Debra Chronicle of Attleboro, Denise Parker of North Easton, Dianne Loftus of Ormond Beach, Fla., and the late Donna Sjostedt of Palm Coast, Fla.; grandchildren Joshua Parker, Crystal Parker, Meagan Dimone and Kaytlin Sjostedt. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Easton Baptist Church, 197 Bay Road, North Easton, MA 02356, Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Peggys name to PANCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Research), www.firstgiving.com/peggykent, and to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 023801.
