HARRIS Margaret Louise Harris, 90, passed away in Houston, TX on Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was born January 25, 1924 to Bruce and Elizabeth Basnight in Elizabeth City, NC. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John, one son James Harris and one great-grandchild Trevor. She is survived by one daughter Norma (Robert) Gonzales, one son Charles (Linda) Harris, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 10:00-11:00am in the chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
