MARGARET LAVERNE (JOHNSON) GUIDRY, went to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 10, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with Guillain-Barre' Syndrome. Margaret was born on January 19, 1927 to Delbert and Emily Johnson. She was a life long resident of Houston and a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. Margaret is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 55 years, Allen Guidry Jr. who was the former owner of Custom Bilt Shutter Shop. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon McMillon and husband Gary of Spring, TX, Carol Reimer and husband Joe of Branson, MO; son, Ron Guidry and wife Lisa of Houston, TX; grandchildren Dawn Dolan and husband Bryan, Karen McMillon, Rebekah, Abigail, John Allen, Stephen, Hannah, Michael, Zoe, and Liberty Guidry, Rachel and Joshua Rheinlander; brother, Fred Johnson and wife Wanda of Lafayette, LA; brother-in-law, Paul C. Guidry of Hot Springs, AR, as well as, several nieces, a nephew and many loving friends that will miss her. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, March 13th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Pat H. Foley & Co. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors.
