JOHNSON, Margaret Katherine (nee Gravenor) - Peacefully on December 30, 2011 at Carlton Lodge Nursing Home in Ottawa in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband The Venerable George Harold Johnson formerly of Toronto and Bracebridge. Margaret lived a long and charmed life in Toronto and in Bracebridge, Muskoka. Predeceased by her brothers Conrad and Gordon Gravenor and her sister Lola Haslam. Survived by her daughter Joanne Davidson of Ottawa and her two granddaughters Katherine Wright of Ottawa and Jennifer Davidson of Toronto. While at Carlton Lodge, Margaret made many friends with the caring staff and residents. Special thanks to all the staff especially the nursing staff on Goulbourn Ward who shed tears and sincere goodbyes to Margaret as she went on her final journey. Special thank you to Margaret's caregiver Carol Goldenberg for her many hours of love, care and kindness she gave to Margaret. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. A celebration of Margaret's life is planned in early January in Ottawa.
