Margaret was born June 22, 1936, in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Vincent and Ethel Engwiller. Margaret loved to travel and was a member of the Red Hat Society.Margaret is survived by her children; Kathleen Johnson of Wappinger Falls, Jean Phillips (William) of Lagrange, Pauline Johnson of Poughkeepsie, Allan Johnson, Jr. (Fawn) of Hyde Park and Alicia Dankelman (James) of Stormville. Margaret also leaves behind grandchildren; Dylan (Michelle), Erik and Cody Johnson, Dale, Brian and Krystal Phillips, Kimberly Dankelman, great grandchildren; Emilie and William Phillips, as well as sister Ethel Woodin (Bill) of Hyde Park, brother Robert Engwiller and several nieces and nephews. Margaret is predeceased by her husband Allan S. Johnson and brother Vincent Engwiller.Arrangements are under the direction of Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10am- 12pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 12 pm followed by burial in LaGrange Rural Cemetery.
