SMITH, Margaret Isa (nee Mitchell) Peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2006. Born in 1915 in Winnipeg to Robert and Euphemia Mitchell. Married for 60 years (enamoured for 65) to Lt. Col. Clifford Smith. Mother of Gavin (Sylvia), Anita (Ted) and Garnet (Beverley). Grandmother of Darcey, Allison, Kiersten, Danielle, Phaedra and Echo and Destiny. Special thank you to the nurses, doctors and many friends for their help, care and compassion to Margaret and her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church (2345 Alta Vista Dr., Ottawa) at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.
