Hansen, Margaret "Maggie" Helen Corbett, died suddenly at age 64 on December 19, 2004. Beloved wife of Dr. Gorm P. "Erik" Hansen for over 42 years. Mother of Kendall Elizabeth and Grant Corbett Hansen. She was a native of Edinburgh, Scotland where she began her training as a youngster becoming a scholar of the Royal Academy of Dance. She then entered her career as a professional dancer and singer in theater and on television. She met Captain Hansen of the USAF Security Service based in Scotland and they were soon married. On completion of his military tour they made their home in Lighthouse Point in 1965. After assisting Erik to establish his dental practice, Maggie resumed her professional career as an entertainer in cabaret venues in Florida, New York, Canada, and Texas, among others. She retired from this to devote her time to caring for her family and to perfect her hobby of gourmet cooking. She is survived by her brothers Allan Corbett, a retired Restauranteur of Edinburgh and Ronnie Corbett, an entertainer of London, England. Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 2331 N.E. 26th Ave., Pompano at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 30th.
