OBITUARY MARGARET (PEGGY) HAZEL STUART March 8, 1918 - February 14, 2006. After a long illness, Peggy Stuart (nee Kingstone) passed away on February 14, 2006 at the age of eighty-seven years. Born in England, Peggy lived most of her life in Montreal. She married Francis "Frank" Linton Stuart (1909-1999) in 1940 and they moved to Toronto in 1982. Peggy spent most summers at her beloved Metis Beach in the lower Saint Lawrence. Her many hobbies included skiing, fishing, cooking, golfing, painting and geology and her wonderful dolls' house collection will always be treasured. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge spawned her involvement in the McCord Museum and travels with Frank all over the world. Peggy never forgot a friend, and many of her long-standing friendships dated back to her childhood. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. Peggy was generous to a fault and always remembered special occasions. She will be sadly missed by her boys (Peter, Michael, David and Ian), their wives (Barbara, Broda, Kathy and Jennifer), her eleven grandchildren (Christopher, Katherine, Stephanie, Ryan, Derek, Matthew, Rebecca, Kevin, Johanna, Alyson, and Elisabeth) and two great-grandchildren (Aidan and Paige). Many thanks to Jacki Campbell, the staff at the CPL-William Morgan Drive, and especially to her primary care givers from Care 2000 Health Services for the wonderful care and love they gave Peggy. A memorial service will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West (2 stop lights west of Yonge St.) in Toronto at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2006. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
