<!-- FH = HOPEWELL FUNERAL HOME -->HARRIS, Margaret L. "Peggy," 61, of Plant City, Fla., went home to be with the Lord September 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Samuel T. Jr. and Margaret Harris; and a brother, Tim Harris. She is survived by her brother, Jeffrey R. Harris; and nieces, Alynn Joyce and Elizabeth Harris. Peggy graduated from Maury High School in Norfolk, Va., in 1968, and in 1972 she graduated from Muskinghum College in Ohio. She began her teaching career and retired from the Hillsborough County School System after 31 years of service. She taught English and drama. Peggy was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Plant City for 38 years, where she served as an active Elder, and she will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 2, at First Presbyterian Church of Plant City, 404 W. Reynolds St., where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's memory to First Presbyterian Church of Plant City music ministry.
