BENNINGTON -- Mrs. Margaret Harrington, 79, widow of Edward Harrington and a former resident of South Street, died Friday evening, Jan. 21, 2005, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation, following a long illness.She was born in Troy, N.Y. April 2, 1925. She received her education in Troy.Margaret’s home and family was her main interest.Survivors include a son, Edward Harrington of Springfield; a daughter, Anna May Harrington of Reading; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside committal service will be held at Whice Chapel Cemetery in the spring.The entombment will take place in Park Lawn Chapel in Bennington.Contributions in memory of Margaret Harrington may be made to one’s favorite charity through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington VT 05201.
