ROBICHAUD Margaret Frances Biles Robichaud (Marge), born January 5, 1926, Badin, NC, died January 1, 2010, Jacksonville Beach, FL. Daughter of the late William F. and Myrtle O. Biles, she was also predeceased by her husband, O.V. (Robi) Robichaud and older brother and only sibling, Gerald F. Biles. Marge was the beloved wife of the late O.V. Robichaud, a WW II pilot and bank trust officer; she admirably fulfilled the role of an Air Force officer's wife, and enjoyed the various bases at which Robi was stationed during his career. The dear mother of three children: Gerald O. Robichaud, William T. Robichaud (Lois), and Carol Robichaud Haley (John); dear grandmother of five: Christine Robichaud Royo (David), Candice Robichaud Griebel (John), Kimberly Robichaud Burghart (Thomas), Elise Robichaud Haley, and Patrick Robichaud Haley; and dear great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren: Alexander, Kennedy, Mason, Benjamin, Callahan, and Caden. Marge will be missed by all. In the 1970s, Marge was instrumental in expanding the development fund for Bishop Kenny High School which enabled a major enhancement of its facilities. She was active in the Beaches Garden Club and Women's Club, and was a founding member of the Beaches Ladies Golf Association. She was a staunch convert to the Catholic faith, having been received into the Church by Francis Cardinal Spellman, Apostolic Vicar for the Armed Forces during WW II. She and Robi were members of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach since moving to the area in 1966. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7th in St. Paul's Catholic Church followed by interment in Beaches Memorial Park.
