BARNES, MARGARET FRANCES (BUCKLER), 84, of Shively, entered into rest on Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Baptist Hospital East. She was born on September 29, 1920. She was the widow of Charles Wommer and Erwin Barnes. She was an active member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, former member of the Shively Women's Club and formerly active in various square dance clubs with her husband, Charles Wommer, a local caller. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Wommer. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her two granddaughters and a great-grandchild. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at W.G. Hardy, Shively Chapel, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday.
