WATERLOO - Margaret Fields, 74, passed away Thursday (Oct. 1, 2009) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Friends and family are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 6) at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia St., Waterloo. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home with Lena Shipley, pastoral associate of St. Mary's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Springport, at the convenience of the family. Margaret was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Throop, Cayuga County, the daughter of the late Harry and Pearl Marion-Fields. Margaret is survived by her sisters, Rose (Randolph) Kent of Geneva, Ann (Daniel) Appleton of Concho, Ariz., and Betty Grove of Sunrise, Fla.; her brothers, Harold (Dorothy) Brewer of Auburn and Thomas Fields of Geneva, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Day; and her brother Bill Brewer.
