EACHUS, Betty (Margaret Elizabeth) (nee Chartier). Entered into rest at Quinte Healthcare Belleville General Hospital with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday, May 27, 2005. Betty Eachus, of Westgate Lodge Nursing Home, Belleville, and Madoc, and formerly of Verdun/Montreal, Quebec, in her seventy-sixth year. Daughter of the late Hilaire and Edith May Chartier (nee Lapier). Wife of the late John (Mac) Eachus. Beloved aunt of Heather and Bill Kelly, Madoc and son Paul MacDonald; Lindsay and Leslie Chartier, Verdun, Quebec; Lora Chartier, Chomedey, Quebec and the late Robert (Zilly) Palamar, Chase, B.C. and sons Todd (Nicole) and Rex (Tiffany); Nancy Uptigrove, Vancouver, B.C.; Gary and Debbie Chartier, Kamloops, B.C.; Lisa and George Papathanasopolous, Montreal, Quebec; and Christopher and Jennifer Chartier, Mississauga. Sister of Alma Winslow, Gilbert and Gail Chartier, Victor Chartier, sister-in-law Clare and the late Norman Chartier, the late Philip and Herselene Chartier and sister-in-law Jean Eachus, Belleville. At Betty's request there will be no visitation. Cremation to take place and her ashes to be laid to rest at White Lake Cemetery to be joined once again with her beloved Mac on Wednesday, June 1 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
