PACOLET -->Margaret Brown Walker PACOLET MILLS, SC-- Margaret Elizabeth Brown Walker, 92, of Pacolet Mills, died Monday, April 14, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 2, 1916, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Effie Mathis Brown and the wife of the late Charles Walker, Jr. She was retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Company and a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Jennie Ann Pruitt and her husband Bobby, and Mary W. Parker and her husband Ray, all of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Alan Pruitt and his wife Gabriel, Larry Pruitt and his wife Sherri, Amanda R. Parker and her fiancé Greg Jensen, and Brian Parker and his wife Jeanne; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Todd Pickens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church, Kitchen Renovation Fund, PO Box 427, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373. The family is at their respective homes.
