Margaret Eileen (Harnett) Daley of Falmouth, Massachusetts and formerly of Manlius, New York, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, New York, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 15, 1931, the daughter of Richard and Gladys (Zindorf) Harnett. She is predeceased by her brother, Richard and survived by her brother, Robert of Dayton OH. Eileen will be joining her beloved husband, Donald F. Daley of West Bridgewater, MA. She is survived by their five children, Daniel (Ana) Daley of Chicago, IL, Noreen (Nathan) Houck of Plattsburgh, NY, Dennis (Janet) Daley of Minneapolis, MN, Kathleen Daley of Arlington, VA, and Maggie (Tom) Russell of Winchester, MA. She was a devoted Nana to 11 grandchildren, Cerelia, John, Brian, Kathleen, Hadley, Fiona, Sean, Patrick, Moira, Danny, and Ada. Eileen was also the proud great-Nana to five great-grandchildren. Eileen grew up in Dayton, Ohio and obtained a nursing diploma from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton, a bachelor's degree in nursing from Ohio State University, and a master's of education from Boston University. She taught nursing at Ohio State University and at Crouse Hospital College of Nursing in Syracuse, NY. First and foremost Eileen was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and entertaining her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the beach. She also developed many lasting friendships in Falmouth and Manlius. Eileen further enjoyed playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her friends. Family and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Eileen's life on May 15, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
