Margaret Carter, 81, Englewood, died Sept. 25, 2003. She was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Tampa and came to Sarasota as an infant from there. She was a salesperson for Belk-Lindsey in Sarasota for 30 years. She was a member of Old Miakka United Methodist Church. Survivors include sons Gary of Venice, Teddy of Baxley, Ga., and Roland of Englewood; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Ewing Funeral Home. A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Old Miakka United Methodist Church in Sarasota. Burial will be in Old Miakka Cemetery.
