Mrs. Margaret Ann White, age 79, of Fisherville passed away October 19, 2014 at her residence surrounded by family and friends.She was the former Margaret Ashby, daughter of the late Earl and Teresa Pulliam Ashby, born in Nelson County. She was a former employee of General Electric in Louisville and retired from Armour Food after 17 years of service. She met the love of her life in February of 1951, Carroll Dean White, and was married for 63 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Leslie A. Webb (John) of Winchester and her two sons Kevin Lee White (Mary) of Mt. Eden and Christopher Todd White (Tammy) of Union; four sisters, Grace Keeling of Taylorsville, Jean Roggenkamp of Mt. Washington, Betty Marksbury (Bill) of Cox's Creek, Bonnie Lewis of Willisburg; two brothers, Charles Ashby (Lydia) of Taylorsville and Gerald Ashby (Alberta) of Cox's Creek; four grandchildren, Stephanie and Kristin Wyatt and Christian and Samuel White. Visitation for Mrs. Margaret Ann White was October 21, and on October 22, 2014 from 9 a.m. til funeral time at 11 a.m. at Greenwell-Houghlin funeral home in Taylorsville with funeral services being officiated by Brother Joe Stone. Interment in the Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville. Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
