FORTIN, Marcelle (nee Morisset) Passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the age of 81. She was born on June 17, 1922 in Quebec City and studied in Nursing. In April 1976, she graduated from the Culinary School at Algonquin College as a Chef. In December 1978, she graduated from the Cordon Bleu School in Paris, France. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Paul Henri Fortin. She will be sadly missed by her children, Richard Fortin (Celine Laviolette) of Lapeche, Helene Fortin of Montreal, Daniel Fortin (Tina Albert) of Ottawa, Yvan Fortin (Linda Martel) of Cumberland, Chantal Fortin (Mario Lacombe) of Orleans and also her nine grandchildren. She leaves behind her sister Berthe and her brother Michel. Predeceased by 3 brothers, Claude, Jean-Paul and Pierre. Visitation will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa (241-3680) on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday, January 14th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 15th at 11 a.m. in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes of Vanier. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the C.N.I.B.
