LAFAYETTE - Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at a service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Marc Cristian Laurent, who died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005. He was 34 years old.The Rev. Keith LaBove will conduct the memorial services.Burial will be in Conway, Miss., where generations of his family have been laid to rest.Marc is survived by his parents, Margaret and Roger Laurent, of Lafayette; twin daughters, Kristen and Brittany Laurent and their mother, Michelle, of Houston, Texas; his sister, Mireille Laurent Mouton and her husband, Mark Mouton, of Lafayette. He is also survived by his nephews, Alex and Hunter Mouton; niece, Alexis Mouton and also his companion, Rhonda Beth Johnson and her daughters, Robyn and Rachel Johnson.He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.Marc was a veteran of military service, having served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in the oil industry as a boat captain. Marc was a student of Remington College in Computer Electronics and was also employed by Otis Computers.Those who knew Marc, knew him as a talented musician and gifted writer.
