Mamie Broadwater Singleton September 11, 2011 Mamie Broadwater Singleton, 104, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday at home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Singleton, in 1989; daughter, Delores Brown, in 2004; three brothers, Enos, Ceasar and James; and four sisters, Lily, Emma, Viola and Susanna. Mamie is survived by five grandchildren, Mary, Enos, Mamie, Lily and Herman; 12 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mamie L. Broadwater; brother-in-law, Issacar Singleton of Rochester; special niece, Mamie Lou Middleton of Long Island, NY and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling Hour: Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 319 West Kennedy Street. Entombment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
