Mamie H. Edwards, widow of Elonzo Edwards, of 165 Fulmer Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Providence Hospital. Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late Noah Houseal and Mattie Sims Houseal. Member: St. Paul AME Church. Survivors: Daughters, Viren Gallman, Willie Mae Suber, Ann Edwards and Shirley Wise; and a son, Freddie L. Edwards, all of Newberry; a daughter-in-law, Evangelist Elizabeth Edwards; sons-in-law, Barry Suber and Frederick Wise; and a sister-in-law, Willie Mae Houseal. Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul AME Church. Burial: Church cemetery.
