MALONE Robert Lee Malone, age 81, passed away October 17, 2008. He was born in Dunnellon, FL and had lived in Middleburg since 1986. Mr. Malone was a Navy veteran retiring after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Malone and is survived by his wife, Audrey J. Malone; son, Blane Malone; 3 daughters, Patricia Caito, Linda Capps and Mona Stanley; 2 step-sons, Wayne and Steven Reeder; step-daughter, Sheila Reeder; 2 sisters, Alma Hooks and Marie Dorsi; grandchildren, Tony, George, Wayne, Dale, Shawn, Angel, Jenny, Blane, Jr., Joey, David, Morgan Reeder, Jason and Tammy and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, October 24, 2008, in the chapel of HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings RD. Middleburg, FL with Wayne Reeder officiating. Graveside service with military rites, will be held 2:30 PM Friday, in Thompkins Cemetery, south of Hawthorne , FL. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
