She was born in Hartsfield, Georgia and moved to Tallahassee in 1955 from Moultrie, Georgia. She was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM, Wednesday, June 5th at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Chapel.Funeral services will be 2:00PM Thursday at Culley's Timberlane Chapel with interment to follow at MeadowWood Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Toney Williams and Terry Williams of Tallahassee; a brother Roy Jonson of Tallahassee; a sister Christine Taylor of Moultrie, Ga.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Howell Curtis Williams; son Russell Lee Williams; brothers Fred Johnson, Chester Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Leon Waters; and a sister Etta Griner.
