MOORE, SC-- Mae Spelce Smith, 87, formerly of Moore-Duncan Highway, widow of Horace J. Smith, died October 18, 2005 at White Oak Estates.A native of Joanna, daughter of the late Grady and Carrie Hodge Spelce, she was a retired employee of Greer Drug Company and a member of River Hills Baptist Church.Surviving are a brother, John W. Spelce of Virgnina Beach, VA; and a sister Mildred Wood of Spartanburg. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by brothers, Hazel Spelce, Ardell Spelce and Woodrow Spelce; and sisters, Nell McAbee, Willie Farmer, and Beatrice Fortenberry.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at River Hills Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Kent Smith.
