Mae Dee Johnson, 87, of 233 East Wacker Drive, died on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, in Chicago, Illinois.Born in Easley, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Fritz and Mamie Galloway Burgess.Survivors: daughter, Dionne Johnson Lane of the home; sisters, Edna Burgess Little and Christine Anderson, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Ashanta Lane (Patrick) Cruz and Rashad Lane; and four great-grandchildren.Funeral Service: Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
