Ms. Mae Drue Henderson, age 78, of Bonifay, passed away Dec. 9, 2010 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay. She was born Jan. 26, 1932 in Hartford, Ala. to the late Glenn and Revie Burch Dorriety. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by a son, Donnie Henderson; two brothers, Mercer Dorriety and Raymond Dorriety; a sister, Juyelette Hundley. She is survived by three sons, Daniel B. Henderson of Greenville, SC, Jimmy Lee Henderson of Panama City, Joseph A. Henderson and wife, Deborah of Bonifay; one daughter, Brenda Lavelle and husband, Michael of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Kevin, Tina, Lance, Dea, Seanna, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 11, at Pondtown United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Faircloth officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
