Mae Belle Jackson, 89, died June 29, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce. She was born in Union Springs, Ala., and was a longtime resident of Martin County. She was a member of Evergreen First Baptist Church, where she served as an usher and the oldest church mother. Survivors include her sons, Charlie Jackson and Willie Jackson, both of Indiantown, Henry Jackson of Fort Pierce and James Jackson of Apopka; daughters, Mary Jackson and Letha Wright, both of Fort Pierce, Margarite Saunders of Riviera Beach; brother, John Henry of Cleveland; sister, Louise Henry of Alabama; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Jackson Sr.; sons, Henry C. Henry and Johnny Jackson; and daughters, JoAnn Jackson and Dora Martin. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. July 8 at Evergreen First Baptist Church in Indiantown. A service will be at 11 a.m. July 9 at Evergreen First Baptist Church in Indiantown.
