Falkville<!--Falkville-->Funeral for Madge Lorene Johnson, 84, of Falkville will be Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson, who died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center, was born June 22, 1923, in Morgan County to Wiley Jack Bates and Forrest Nevada Hall Bates. She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifton Bates, and by two sisters, Margie Patterson and Melba Felkins. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Vest and wife, Alene, Vance Vest and wife, Anne, and Billy Vest and wife, Dona, all of Falkville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Bryan Vest, Michael Vest, Daniel Vest, Cory Teague, Jim Garner and Caleb Vest.
