MARION Madelyn Barton Carter, age 75, of Marion, died Nov. 8, 2010, at Vaughn Medical Hospital in Selma. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Open Door Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Gervis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Paynes Chapel Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
