Mrs. Mabel Smith, age 82, of 246 Lee Road, Fair Play, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at her home.Mrs. Smith and her late husband, Lonnie Arnold Smith, were former residents of Taylors, and were members of Lee Road Baptist Church in Taylors.Survivors include two daughters, Patti Smith Calhoun and her husband, Ronnie of Simpsonville, and Carolyn Smith Williams and her husband, Billy of Taylors. She is also survived by two sisters; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and great-grandson, Hunter Calhoun.Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church, Fair Play. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.The McDougald Funeral Home, Anderson is in charge of the arrangements.
