Mabel "Judy" Smith passed away March 18, 2006, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was born in North Carolina and moved to Jacksonville from Orlando in 1979. Ms. Smith was retired from Stein-Mart, was an accomplished ballroom dancer, and a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons, Phil (Jules) Smith, Michael Smith and Robert (Daniela) Smith; daughters, Kimberly (Jay) Johnson and Jody (John) Tinetti; brother, Dee Thomas; sister, Christine Wolfe; grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Joey and Kelly Corey, and Connor Smith; and great-grandson, Noah Corey. Judy will be missed by family and friends. We are thankful she is at peace with the Lord. She will always be near in our hearts and minds. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, in Oaklawn Cemetery, Jacksonville. Arrangements are by Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. 32223.
