Frank Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ramsey died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.She was born September 3, 1917 in Medina, TN to the late A. C. Piercey and Beulah Whittle Piercey. Mrs. Ramsey was a 1937 graduate of Fairview High School, and worked in Quality Control at the Porter-Cable Company. She was a member of Medina First Baptist Church.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. J. P. Ramsey, whom she married on May 12, 1940; a son, Dwight Preston Ramsey; her brothers, Malone Piercey, Gwinn Piercey, Calvin Piercey and Newbill Piercey, and a sister, Ruth Piercey.Surviving are a daughter, Elaine Ramsey Browning of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
