MURPHY, MYRTLE R., 78, of SR 46 Sorrento, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002. Born in Bangor, Maine, she came to central Florida in 1947. Mrs. Murphy was a loving mother, homemaker, and childcare provider. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include seven sons: Ed of Bangor, Maine; Wayne of Sanford; Carl of Ocoee; Bill, Jim, and David, all of Orlando, and Rick of Treasure Island; two daughters: Kathy Roberts of Sorrento, and Patty Harville of Clermont; four brothers: Bill Potter of North Carolina; Frank Potter and George Potter, both of Bangor, Maine; and Gene Potter of Orrington, Maine, three sisters: Bertha Brooks of Eustis; Ruth Hanscom and Ethel Turner, both of Bangor, Maine, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
