WILLIAMS, Moses Lawrence,88, Virginia Avenue, Montgomery, AL, departed this lifeon Wednesday, December24, 2008 at Jackson Hospital.His wife, Georgia Mae Williams preceded him in deathin 1994 and his son, FrankChappell in 1998. He was thelast living child of his deceased parents, Rufus andLaura Steele Williams. Alsopreceding him in death washis twin brother, Aaron Williams; brother, Dave Williams,and two sisters, Pearlie BellDuncan and Mary Clara Frazier. He was a brick mason bytrade and worked up until hewas in his early Seventies. Hewas an active deacon at St.James Baptist Church, HoltCrossing. He leaves to carryon his legacy three devoteddaughters, Laura (Willie) Collins, Brenda (Freeman) Dejournette all of Montgomery,AL, and Sara (Gene) Johnson, Albany, GA; eight grandchildren, Doris (Anthony)Crook, Daphne, AL; Sharon(Larry) Fort, Snellville, GA;Gene (Susan) Johnson, Stockbrige, GA, Will (Shavon) Collins, Dallas, TX, Ashley (Daryl)Easterling, Montgomery, AL,Jay (Kenya) Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Alicia Johnson, Rex,GA, and Ashanti Collins, Dallas, TX; eight great-grandchildren, Ariel Crook, Jordan Fort,Destiny and Elijah Collins,Zion and Summer Easterling,Miles and Gene AndrewJohnson. Funeralservices will be held Monday,December 29, 2008 at St.James Baptist Church HoltCrossing, 3033 Vaughn Roadat 1:00 p.m. The body will liein state one hour prior to thefuneral at the church.
