ANDERSON, MILDRED LUCILLE FOX - age 92 of Knoxville, died July 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Anderson, Sr.; parents, Claude and Stella Fox; 10 brothers and sisters; son, Michael Anderson; and grandson, Brian Anderson. In loving memory of a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend who will truly be missed by all of the lives she touched. Mildred leaves to cherish her loving memory, 2 daughters, Nancy Wick and husband, Richard Wick of Duncanville, TX and Glenda Anderson of Knoxville, TN; 3 sons, Tom Anderson Jr. and wife, Linda of Grayson, GA, Wayne Anderson of Seymour, TN and Glenn Anderson and wife, Diana of Savannah, GA; 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Ruth West and Carolyn Fox and a host of other relations and friends. Mildred was the 3rd child of a family of 13. Even though she traveled the country as a military wife, raising 6 children, she remained a lifetime member of Gallahar View Baptist Church. She enjoyed being an Avon Lady, loved to cook and left many recipes to family and friends. Her favorite activity was visiting the beauty shop to get her hair done and truly believed that a good hair day was a good day! The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15th with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home and Cremations Middlebrook Chapel (865-694-3500). Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16th at Edgewood Cemetery, Gallahar View Road, Knoxville, TN.
