Michael Patrick Stellate III, age 55, passed away at Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, New York, on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was born in Mount Vernon to the late Hazel and Michael P. Stellate, Jr. on September 14, 1955. He was a loving, supportive and generous brother of Kenneth and his wife Janice, John and his wife Teresa and Valerie and her husband Michael. He was an adoring uncle to Kenneth, Jr., John, Joey, Christina, Andrew, Kyle and Tyler. He is survived by his loving aunts, uncles, many cousins and dear friends. He resided in Mount Vernon, New York for 21 years before settling in Eastchester, New York. He graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in 1973, attended Westchester Community College and was employed with Warren Helm Corporation. Michael's greatest joy was being surrounded by his nephews and nieces. He was very kind and generous to each of them and always worried about them. He was famous for his yearly camping trips and the kids just loved it. He had a heart of gold and anyone who knew him would always say what a good man he was. He was truly one of a kind and you were fortunate if you knew him and he called you friend. Lastly, he will join his Mother and Father, Hazel and Michael in Heaven. He will be greatly missed and his broken heart will now be whole again.
