Mary-V. Williams, spouse of Herbert-J. Williams, mother of Herbert J, Joan and Donohue, died on March 23, 2013.
Mary Violet (Cotton) Williams, of Hull, passed away March 23, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Williams. Loving mother of Alberta Donohue and her husband John of Hull, Joan O'Brien and her husband John of Hingham, Herbert J. Jr., Mary Cusick and her husband Thomas and Ann Marciano and her husband Peter all of Hull. Dear sister of Ellen Cotton and Marjorie Lundrigan both of Abington and the late Catherine Hawkins and Dorothy Adams. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mary Violet born in Newfoundland Canada and lived in Dorchester for many years before settling in Hull in 1975. She was a member of the Hull Senior Citizen's Center where she enjoyed, bowling, taking trips and making many friends. Mary's family remembers her as a caring and gentle woman who never had a bad word for anyone. She was a wonderful cook and always made enough for a crowd. Most of all, Mary's family was the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Visiting hours were on Tuesday, March 26, from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A Celebration of Life Service was held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Marys Parish in St. Anns Church, Hull at 10 a.m. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
