Obituary of Mary-R. Carter

Mary R. Carter, 94, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was born March 10, 1916 on Mound Key Island, FL and has been a lifelong Fort Myers resident.Left to cherish her memory is her children: Kenneth W. Cater (Joan) of Bainbridge, GA and Gary S. Carter (June) of Alva; her grandchildren: Kimberly Miller (Jim), Joey Carter and Kelly Barnes and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Carter in 1994.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
